Christmas Cheer

We had a Christmas Party on Sunday, and had a full house. How wonderful. Lots of boisterous chatter. . . and talking big. I was commenting to friends on some second thoughts I had on a used furniture purchase, that were diminished by the revelation that the cost of the item new was 10x the price paid. Of course the wife overheard me and said "Oh like you made a command decision to buy it". Certainly she found it and was ready to purchase it, and called me up for a quick approval at the time. Of course everyone in the room looked back at me. So I replied, "Well, I made the command decision not to tell you not to buy it!" This was met with laughter and a "Hmmph" as my wife disappeared around the corner.
