Who is Damianus?

Perhaps just a fine wine.

Not so, Damianus is an latin version of the name Damian. Why Damian, another blog topic another day. St Damianus was the 5th century patron saint of physicians. Not so into physicians. . . but I am into saints. When you do things out of the ordinary, folks ask why. If you say that you do it for a living its ok. Its amazing how many jobs we will take for money, but to do it for fun . . . you must be sick. Think about funeral homes, trash removal, and dentistry. What about prostitution in the state of NV and Vancouver CA? Now Saints do things not for fun or money, but rather for the love of man - agape. Wow, putting other peoples needs above our wants. I think that is a daily struggle. Afterall, to whom much is given, much is expected. Some are given more consience, conviction, and heart than others. Those folks are destined for sainthood.
